Man, I feel for David in this 31st Psalm. He was having a rough time. It seemed like everyone was against him...well in verse 13 it says: "For I hear the whispering of many terrors on every side! - as they scheme together against me, as they plot to take my life"
I think we've all felt like that many times in our lives and wondered "Where is God?" David knew... God was with him. v. 14 But I trust in you, O Lord; I say, "You are my God." 19 Oh, how abundant is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you
and worked for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of the children of mankind!20 In the cover of your presence you hide them from the plots of men; you store them in your shelter from the strife of tongues.
David was hidden in God. Things were happening to him in the natural realm but he was protected in the spirit and that protection overflowed into the natural realm.
So even when, no especially, when things look putrid, bless the Lord, for He loves you and wants only the best for you. Don't curse the one who wants to deliver you, bless Him and thank Him by faith. You'll see your circumstances change.
24Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord!
